Nach dem Erfolg ihrer letzten beiden Singles „Faded“ und „La Passion“ hat sich der Multi-Platin ausgezeichnete DJ und Produzent Martin Jensen erneut mit Stefy De Cicco und Ben Hamilton zusammengetan, um einen Remix von Kid Cudi‘s Smash-Hit „Day’N’Nite“ zu produzieren.
Der gefühlvolle Klang von Ben Hamilton‘s Stimme und seine makellose Gesangsperformance machen die ohnehin schon eingängige Melodie noch hypnotischer. Seine Stimme liegt perfekt auf dem modernen pulsierenden Beat, den Stefy mit Hilfe des dänischen Hitmakers Martin Jensen kreiert hat.
Martin Jensen ist vor allem bekannt für seinen Hit „Solo Dance“, der ihm über 500 Millionen Spotify Streams einbrachte, sowie mehrfache Platin – Auszeichnungen in über 14 Ländern. Doch seine Erfolgssträhne endete nicht mit einem Track. Es folgten Kollaborationen mit renommierten Pop-Künstlern wie The Vamps und James Arthur, die ihn dabei unterstützt haben über eine Milliarde Spotify Streams zu generieren.
Nicht nur im Pop-Bereich beweist sich Martin mit seinem einzigartigen Talent. Mit Tracks wie „Night After Night”, „Sí” und, „Rubber Bands” mit Timmy Trumpet begeistert er die Massen und sorgt auf Festivals und Clubs wie Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, SW4 und London’s Ministry of Sound für unvergessliche Party-Nächte. Es ist also kein Wunder, dass Jensen seit 3 Jahren fester Bestandteil der DJ Mag ‘Top 100’ ist.
Über die Zusammenarbeit sagt Martin: „It was quite the honor to get to work on this record and doing my own personal take on such a classic. It’s always interesting to see how two worlds combine and whether they work together or not. In this case I believe the final song is a best of both worlds and I’m super happy with the result. I’m very excited to see and hear the response and that it’s finally out!”
Stefy de Cicco hat 25 Jahre in vielen Clubs in Italien und Ausland aufgelegt. Sein erster Track „Keep On Jumpin“ wurde in die Playlist „Fuck Me I’m Famous“ aufgenommen und schaffte es in die Top 10 der Lieblingssongs von Pete Tong. Der Track wurde außerdem von Künstlern wie Tiësto, Laurent Wolf, Thomas Gold, Laidback Luke und Mark Knight unterstützt und weltweit lizenziert. Es folgte „Move Your Body“, der in vielen europäischen Ländern erfolgreich veröffentlicht wurde. Im Jahr 2017 veröffentlichte Stefy eine weitere Hit-Single – „I Like That“ mit Stella Mwangi, die von allen großen Radios in Italien gespielt wurde. Im folgenden Jahr wurde seine Zusammenarbeit mit Lorna (bekannt aus „Papi Chulo“) „Fiesta“ in der 2. Staffel der Netflix-Serie „On My Block“ aufgenommen. Dieses Jahr veröffentlichte Stefy einen erfolgreichen Remix von Gigi D’Agostinos „La Passion“.
Benny Y V Hamilton, AKA Ben Hamilton, wurde am 3. Oktober 1991 in New York geboren. Schon in jungen Jahren zeigte er starke künstlerische Talente, lernte Klavierspielen und nahm Gesangsunterricht. Allen, die ihn bisher kennen lernen durften, war direkt klar, dass er ein Naturtalent in Sachen Performen vor großem Publikum ist. Im Alter von 19 Jahren begann er seine Karriere als Showman und trat dadurch in vielen Clubs und auf vielen Festivals auf. Seine souveräne Gesangsperformance und seine angeborenen Entertainer-Fähigkeiten haben dazu beigetragen, dass er sich rasant von kleinen Clubshows zu einigen der größten europäischen Festivals durchkämpfen konnte und er so bereits vor 20.000 Zuschauern performt hat.
Wenn man Stefy zu der Zusammenarbeit befragt, wird deutlich wie begeistert er davon ist: „I became a fan of Martin’s sound as soon as I heard his track „All I Wanna Do“. So, I’m extremely happy that I had the opportunity to work with someone that I truly respect on this new single”

Singer-songwriter and Electronic music producer. To many that might sound like two very different aspects of modern sound culture – which in turn makes Monolink a fascinating character, because he’s both rolled into one. His style seamlessly connects the narrative structure of a song with the compelling forward thrust of electronic rhythms. Guitar chords merge into synthetic pad sounds, hypnotic bass vibrations meet emotional vocal parts, passionate physicality meets sublime stimulation for the mind.
Steffen Linck comes from a background that is often described with the wonderfully vague term “guitar music”. North American Folk, Blues… he’s never committed to a single style. And as much as he loves his guitar as a faithful companion on his musical journey – the songs composed for this instrument have a certain flaw. Thanks to melodic structure and the additional use of the human voice they have the power to tell a story – but all too often it’s just a very short pleasure. That’s why the Berlin based producer welds his emotive songs to the beat and groove of electronic music, creating the ultimate examples of melodic dance music.
Evolving out of the Acid Pauli helmed 3000Grad camp, Monolink signed his debut album ‘Amniotic’ to tastemaker German independent label Embassy Of Music Records. Released in autumn 2017 and made up of 11 entrancing tracks, the album has already achieved over 25 million combined streams with the singles ‘Sirens’. Swallow’ ‘Burning Sun’ and ‘Father Ocean’ all receiving strong airplay on German radio.
The final chapter of the ‘Amniotic’ campaign has seen the release of incredibly well received and supported remixes from the titans of the melodic techno and techno scenes such as Patrice Baumel, Tale Of Us, Rodriguez Jr, Ben Bohmer, Artbat, Adam Beyer and Nicole Moudaber. All of these remixes have achieved Beatport Top 10 placings and huge dance radio support with the Artbat remix in particular dominating the summer of 2019 around the world.
Steffen is now busy preparing his second artist album with hopes of the first new music appearing in the spring of 2020.
While Monolink’s recording career is in ascendance the same and more can most definitely be said about his live performances. As a solo performer he continues to play the world’s most prestigious clubs and festivals, sell out his own headline tours in North America and Australia and hold down a residency at the celebrated iconic Ibiza (and beyond) party WooMoon.
Autumn 2018 saw the first Monolink band shows with a sold out tour of Germany that included three nights at Berlin’s Saalchen 900 capacity venue. With 7,000 tickets sold a month before the tour began, impressed promoters have queued up to book the 3 piece Monolink band this summer resulting in headline or co headline slots at Melt, Fusion, Dockville, Montreux Jazz, Audioriver and Mairfield Derby festivals.
With the anticipation of the new album already generating huge excitement Monolink’s tour plans for 2020 are already well underway.
