MARSHMELLO & INJI JOIN FORCES ON ELECTRO-POP ANTHEM
“KISSIN MY FRIENDS”
“Kissin My Friends” is a bright, club-ready collision of pop and dance, mixing shuffling percussion and flashes of drum & bass with INJI’s bold, tongue-in-cheek vocals about messy attraction and late-night impulses. After teasing it on TikTok, the duo delivers a fun, free-spirited anthem built for carefree and possibly messy nights out.
INJI says of the track and collaboration: “When Marshmello dm’d me saying he had a song for me I thought his account was hacked. He said he kept seeing my videos on Tiktok (at a time where I was getting no attention – you never know who’s watching!). He said he knew he had found his artist for this new song – “Kissin My Friends.” The song was weirdly accurate for my life at the time… I fell in love with the song the first time I heard it – it’s huge, it flows, it has that drum and bass danceability and has a flirty nostalgic optimism about it.”
To kick off 2025, Marshmello released “Slow Motion” with The Jonas Brothers, a fan-favorite that has already surpassed 50M global Spotify streams and led to a series of high-energy stadium performances alongside the trio. Throughout the year, he continues to impress fans with his genre-fluid versatility, teaming up with Ellie Goulding and AVAION for the emotive dance track “Save My Love,” while also venturing into the country-EDM space with Jelly Roll on “Holy Water” and rising artist Hudson Westbrook on “Better Man Than Me.”
INJI, the Istanbul-born, New York City based artist whose music roots began with classical piano training at a young age, gained major momentum following the TikTok virality of her hits “GASLIGHT” and “BELLYDANCING,” racking up tens of millions of streams. Known for fusing electro-pop with a boundary pushing edge, she was named Billboard’s October Dance Rookie of the Month. As she continues to rewrite the rules of modern pop, she is gearing up for a 2026 headline tour with stops at Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre, New York’s Webster Hall, and London’s Koko.

About Marshmello:
Marshmello’s star continues to rise as the famously masked, Grammy-nominated artist and producer breaks boundaries across the music industry. With chart-topping singles and collaborations with artists such as Juice WRLD, Halsey, Khalid, Demi Lovato, Bastille, Kane Brown, Selena Gomez, Jonas Brothers, Manuel Turizo, Fuerza Regida, P!NK, Sting, and many more, Marshmello has amassed a staggering 16.8 billion streams on Spotify alone. With over 68 million monthly listeners, he’s one of the top 15 most-streamed artists in the world on Spotify and the third-most-subscribed artist on YouTube.
In 2022, Marshmello received a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album, and his hit single “Numb” with Khalid landed in the top 50 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was also nominated for “Song of the Summer” at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards. In 2023, he continued to push boundaries, collaborating with artists like Brent Faiyaz, Dove Cameron, P!NK, and Sting. He also released his first-ever Latin album, Sugar Papi, featuring massive hits like “Esta Vida” with Urbano sensation Farruko, “Harley Quinn” with Fuerza Regida, and the chart-topping “El Merengue” with Manuel Turizo.
More recently, Marshmello made history with his second collaboration with Kane Brown, „Miles On It,“ which became the first song ever to debut at No. 1 on both the Dance/Electronic and Country charts. He also released his second track with the Jonas Brothers, “Slow Motion.” As we get into 2025, Marshmello is focusing on returning to his dance music roots and re-launching his label, Joytime Collective. Through this new chapter, he will continue to release music independently and sign emerging artists he’s passionate about.
About INJI:
INJI is a 24-year-old Turkish-born, NYC-based artist, who has carved out her own lane with explosive dance-pop rooted in classical and jazz training. While graduating from The Wharton School of Business, she launched her solo career with the viral smash “GASLIGHT,” which dominated TikTok and streamed in the millions. Her follow-up, “BELLYDANCING,” hit 56.5M+ streams, topped global playlists, and earned 300K+ Shazams in its first week.
This year Rolling Stone UK hailed her festival set at Mighty Hoopla as “a late afternoon rave” where she performed her “satire-fuelled party bangers.” This fall she DJ’d PAPER Magazine’s NYFW party this September and recently remixed Demi Lovato’s “Here All Night.” Of her newly released mixtape, SUPERLAME, Vogue Magazine said “the project is a showcase for Inji’s remarkable versatility and her iconoclastic approach to genre. But what ties it all together is her eye for an irreverent lyric and ear for an irresistibly catchy pop chorus.”
