„Als Du gingst“ wurde 2016 von Sängerin & Songwriterin Lina Maly geschrieben und mitkomponiert und zurecht zu einem kleinen Fan-Favoriten. Fast zehn Jahre später hat der multitalentierte Contec dem Song moderne Beats verpasst, die perfekt mit Linas intensiver Stimme harmonieren. Der Hintergrund und die Entstehung der neuen Version sind von einem traurigen Schicksalsschlag überschattet.
